On 8 and 9 April 2025, the Flex4Res project partners came together in Bremen to share the latest developments and align on the next steps towards a more resilient manufacturing industry across Europe.
Bremen proved to be the perfect location for the meeting – a dynamic hub of industry, logistics, digital innovation and cutting-edge research. From strong manufacturing roots to leading research institutions in marine science and beyond, the city embodies the spirit of Flex4Res: collaboration across disciplines and borders.
Over two productive days, partners presented:
– Live demos from the four industrial use cases (Hans Berg, SIDENOR steel industry, GOIMEK | Precision machining and voestalpine High Performance Metals DIGITAL SOLUTIONS GmbH)
– The latest progress on the resilience assessment and reconfiguration planning toolboxes
– Updates on the data spaces framework for secure, collaborative data sharing in manufacturing value chains
