BEIA participated in the mid-term review meeting for the FLEX4RES project, held on July 11th, 2024, in Brussels. This review marked a significant milestone in the project, funded by the European Commission, which focuses on creating Data Spaces for Flexible Production Lines and Supply Chains aimed at resilient manufacturing. The meeting brought together key project partners to discuss progress across various work packages, from defining industrial pilots and system architecture to setting up resilience assessment toolboxes and decision-making strategies for supply chain reconfiguration.
Key presentations included updates on pilot cases from industry partners such as SIDENOR, VOE, GOIMEK, and Hans Berg, as well as discussions on impact management and project coordination. The review offered valuable feedback and insights from the European Commission and the project’s reviewers, helping ensure that FLEX4RES continues to meet its objectives in fostering innovation in flexible production and resilient supply chains.
